Ian Murr originally founded the company in 1998 after finishing his apprenticeship in carpentry and joinery it wasn’t long before he set up on his own providing his services for private work and large organisations.

Skillfix Construction Ltd started as a small business, which has expanded over the years to keep in line with client demand. Ian himself has more than 30 years’ experience within the construction industry and along with other members of the business we now have a vast area of expertise and knowledge in all aspects to meet any requirements you have.

We are conscious of our social responsibility to the environment, we aim to source materials and reduce our carbon footprint, reducing waste on site as well as reducing paper usage within the office.

Health and safety is paramount in all aspects of our working environment for employees and customers, we invest heavily in training to ensure all of our staff are at the forefront of information regarding health and safety.

Whilst we continually aim to expand the business, we still strive to ensure that the family feel to the company is always kept.

We have invested and will continue to invest in green technology to be one of the leading contractors making a greener future.
